Hi, Im Steve. By day (and usually a lot of nights) I am a copywriter working for an advertising agency in New York City. When Im not doing that I can usually be found exploring the city, watching bad cable movies to make fun of, and visiting establishments that sell alcohol to write about for this blog.
I started this blog as a new years resolution. I have not seen the movie Julia and Julie. That was not my inspiration for this blog. I just figured that it would be a cool thing to do, and was something wanted to try for a while.
Im always open to suggestions and cool new ways to improve the blog. I also would be more than happy to meet you for a drink (at a new bar) so you may enjoy your .15 minutes of internet fame.

I guess i was found on howaboutwe.com but unfortunately, I have not subscribed yet. Luckily, you found me on an extremely slow night at work (I work in news and am filling in for our foreign desk) so I was able to check out your site.
I once did a make-your-own pub crawl with friends in the west village and we ended up at a tranny bar, a sports bar, a lounge and a swingers event. Thus, I’m eager for a repeat. Perhaps a pub crawl could make an interesting post on your site.
